Custom Retriever will not be executed

Hello Community,

I’m facing an issue and could use some help. I’ve copied the example for the Custom Retriever as a test, but I’m struggling to get it to function correctly. The agent never triggers the retriever function. Since I plan to use the Custom Retriever in the future, it’s crucial for me to ensure this feature works properly.

Hi @schligp I ran the retriever cookbook, and it works fine on my side . Can you please give me more information on the exact steps you took or if you see any error being logged ?
Also can you confirm on your side if you are using the latest Agno sdk?
